This product advertises having 144 sq. ft. of shade. This is not accurate. The legs go out to 12 x 12 but the canopy is only 9 x 9. Since the legs don't give shade, I believe they have advertised falsely.

This is the perfect size for myself to use in BBQ comps. I use to have two small quikshades canopies but with a good wind the legs collapsed and snapped off, this is built very sturdy and worth it.

The canopy worked excellently for my child's school fund raising booth during the Pumpkin Festival here in Keene NH. No problems at all and it had a better look than the one we had borrowed for last years event. It was a little harder for two people to put up then we expected. But that was fairly trivial. That was the only thing keeping it from being a 5 star rating.

The first one I received had a badly bent main leg when it arrived. Amazon replaced it for me right away. The second one came with some dents on one of the legs, but is otherwise straight. It's not built as well as some other brands I've been looking at. In use, water ponds on the sides of the canopy.
I've since purchased the Columbia Sun Basin II FIRST UP Screen House 10 -Foot by 10 -Foot Canopy from Amazon, and I like it a lot better. It arrived straight, and it has lots of features that the Shelter Logic does not have, like tie downs, easy press thumb buttons, etc.

It's a little bit out of line when people complain about this tent being flimsy. Of course it is! It's very inexpensive. If you want a permanent/long-term tent setup, invest in a better tent.
I use this tent for expos that last 1 to 3 days and it works terrifically for this purpose. Setup is easy and quick.
pop-up problem

This canopy has very strong legs but the inner metal work easily bends rendering the canopy virtually useless. The first strong gust of wind and it was over. Yes , it had been staked and weighted , the legs were fine.

Read the other two reviews its all true. Unless you are going to stay right with it, it is not very durable. It does go up quick but you must be very carefull because the inward works are very thin and bend easily. Like the product and will probably buy again but if you want something srong and durable this item is not for you.
Not what I expected

Overall, the product was in decent condition. some of the poles were bent a little. Biggest problem is the height of the entrance area. Cannot pull SUV under it for detailing. Company said that they would accept a return but, there would be a restocking fee and I would have to pay for the shipping as well. I can understand the shipping fees... have problem with restocking fee based on limited disclosure of dimensions before purchase. Guess its my fault for assuming.
10X20 Pop-up is Garbage!

I bought the 10X20 pop-up canopy. A friend and I finally got it up after struggling with the tight pop-up mechanism and one bar bent in the process. After it was all set-up, it started to rain and the roof was so cheap the water came right through!! It was dripping everywhere as well as collecting water in pools on the edges of the roof. It was a disaster and useless when it rains if you want to stay dry. Cheaply made as are all of these pop-up deals over 10x10. I also got a 10x15 tent that collapsed in a rain storm because the water collected on the roof and never drained off. The water weight bent one of th poles and it snapped.
Stay away from Pop-ups unless your around all the time to monitor them when it rains or it's a very temporary structure.
