Camo Tarps
Camo tarps are favored by hunters and campers, for covering tents and camping gear, as a ground cover, as awnings, canopies or lean-tos, and to construct hunting blinds. Camo tarps are available in a variety of sizes and prices. Camo tarps are frequently used by non-hunters, for use as an inexpensive cover over outdoor gear, logpiles, or other outdoor items that need covering. Camo tarps are also used by birders and wildlife watchers to remain inconspicuous and avoid alerting or startling their "prey."
Since camo tarps are designed to blend into the surrounding natural scenery, they make an excellent cover for anything that should remain inconspicuous — for example, mowers, gardening supplies, mulch piles. Camouflage tarps are frequently available with camo printing on one side, and solid dark green on the other. The camo style is often the "woodlands" type, designed to blend into forest greens and browns.
