We bought a couple of these to cover our woodpiles. No lie, we had them covered up fewer than 3 minutes when we got one of our nastier thunderstorms: winds over 60 miles an hour and 2 inches of rain in less than an hour. Because we had not perfected "tenting" the tarp it ended up holding up a large amount of pooled water; withstood the winds as well. We've had plenty of wind and rain since and had no problems. I'm sure they'll handle snow as well. These are sturdy and strong, no problems with the grommets. Highly recommended.

I thought this would turn out to be more tarp than I needed. I have a 7x9 Coleman four-man tent, and this 10x12 tarp is exactly the right size to go under the whole tent plus give me a generous entrance/exit area. I always stake it down at all four corners, independently from the tent.

Memorial Day weekend 2009 I was at a bluegrass festival that was hit by a near-hurricane-level storm. Tents and tarps went flying all over the place, and most everyone lost their gear. Not me. This tarp stayed put, the tent on top of it was unharmed, and despite being battered by wind and debris, all it got was muddy. Cheaper tarps and groundcloths at nearby campsites were torn to shreds.

This is being used to wrap a wood pile. Brown side blends right into background of trees. Seems formidable, already weathered a few storms, and holding up just fine. Hope it lasts for years.

i bought this tarp to protect our patio furniture during the winter months. i've used it one winter. it kept the furniture dry. it's not a really high quality tarp. it seems like it would tear fairly easily, and it seems fairly thin, but these are merely perceptions. i have not conducted any scientific tests or comparisons. but i can tell you it kept our stuff dry for one winter, and i play to use it again next winter.

This is a well priced tarp and larger, 12 x 16,than several smaller ones I have. It's 5 mm thick. Nice and light to move around. Need to anchor if there is any wind. Durability is unknown. So far, so good.

I bought this UV tarp to shade my tent at Burningman, the UV aspect worked very well at shielding the sun, also it survived some very strong dust storms; proving that it's very well constructed. I wouldn't spend too much time looking else where.

It is an excellent fit for my 12X20 carport. I needed to add a couple of gromets to match the holes in the poles. The end result looks twice as good as the original cover and at half the price.

I use these tarps (one more order coming)for laying down on top of the patio covers for shade and protection from rains ... I still have to see how long this will last comparing to 1 year under the hot summer California sun ....

I bought this to use as a tent footprint on my new (also bought at Amazon) Colubia Cougar Flats tent. It is the perfect size, and seem durable. I like the rubber corners. Plus one side is the color of dirt, so that side goes down.

I used this as a footprint to my tent and had no issues. There were a few rocks under our tent and the tarp wasn't even scuffed. The tarp is much more heavy duty than one you would get at Dicks.

Instead of purchasing an overpriced swimming pool ground cloth for your 8 foot (or smaller) inflatable pool, consider buying this inexpensive alternative. It's durable, and it and works just as well. It also a makes a good pool cover if it's tied down.

When I 1st recieved it in the mail I thought, oh it's not gonna be big enough, well to my amazment, it was huge! I was setting myself up for disappointment b/c of the great price for it, I thought, well something must be wrong, but that was not the case, we are very satisfied with this product. the green side is a little lighter than the picture shows, but not a concern for me.

Decent tarp. We tried to use it to as a shield from the rain under our deck but after a couple of days it got a few small holes in it. This may have been from the wind bouncing the tarp up against the deck, not sure. Anyway for $20 it is a good tarp just don't expect to use it for anything vigorous.

A decent quality tarp, the camo color is matt, not glossy, it's medium thickness, not quite (but almost) heavy duty, a bit expensive but still worth it, I would recommend it! The free shipping made the difference for me in this case...

tarp not close to 8x10 almost a foot short all around went local bought one that really was 8x10 was heavier came with bungee tie downs and 1/2 price. Cheaper then return shipping would not recommend
